Tharindu Prabhath Ranathunga

Tharindu Prabhath Ranathunga is a Senior Researcher at Munster Technological University, contributing to the CORDS project focused on energy performance management through distributed intelligence. With a background in blockchain and distributed ledger technology, Tharindu also served as a Casual Part-Time Researcher, developing tools for enterprise-scale blockchain adoption. Previous roles include Organizer at GDG Cork and Open Source Developer at SCoRe Lab, as well as Manager at RSVP.lk, an event management platform. Tharindu's experience as a Software Engineer at LSEG Technology and a Software Engineering Intern at 99X Technology complements a solid educational foundation, including a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Munster Technological University and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Colombo.
