Rob Causton Beng Ceng Fice

Rob Causton BEng CEng FICE is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in structural design and management. Currently serving as the Structures TAA Design Lead and Structures Group Manager at CORMAC since January 2009, Rob leads a team of 30 professionals overseeing the design, maintenance, and inspection of various structures throughout Cornwall. Prior to this role, Rob worked at Cornwall Council as a Group Engineer (Highway Structures) from August 2006 to December 2008, coordinating technical activities and managing a team of 13. Rob's career began at Cornwall County Council, where roles included Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, focusing on bridge and retaining wall schemes as well as Railtrack assessments. Educational foundations were established with a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, complemented by early career experience as a Graduate Engineer.
