Evan Williams

Evan Williams has gained a variety of work experience in the field of computer science. Starting in 2021, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Commonwealth Associates, Inc. The following year, in 2022, Evan held the position of Solutions Engineering Summer Scholar at Deloitte. In the same year, they also began working at Cornell Computing and Information Science as a Consultant for the CS 3110 course. Additionally, at Cornell Data Science, Evan was a member of the Data Engineering Subteam and later became the Subteam Lead. They also served as the Onboarding Chair and became the President of the organization in 2023. In terms of research experience, Evan worked as a Research Assistant for the Capra Research Group at Cornell Computer Systems Lab and later as an EDA Researcher for the Batten Research Group. In 2023, Evan took on the role of a Teaching Assistant for the ECE 5755 course at Cornell Tech, as well as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon.

Evan Williams pursued their education with a focus on computer science and engineering. Evan received an Advanced Studies Diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in 2020. Later, they attended Purdue University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering in 2021. Evan continued their education at Cornell University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, with a secondary focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering, in 2023. Evan is currently enrolled at Cornell University and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science.
