Laurie Miller

Laurie Miller is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public engagement, policy analysis, and advocacy for early childhood programs. Since September 2005, Laurie serves as the Associate Director for Public Engagement and Capstone Instructor in the MPA Program at the Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University, where responsibilities include teaching professional report writing and capstone courses. Prior experience includes roles as Grants Administrator at Cornell University, Senior Associate at the Children's Defense Fund, and Senior Associate at the Child Care Action Campaign, focusing on early childhood policies and community programs. Additional experience includes serving as a Budget and Policy Analyst at the New York City Department of Housing and Preservation and as Program Director at the University of Massachusetts Human Development Lab School. Laurie holds an MPA from Columbia University, an EdM in Human Development from Harvard, and a B.S. in Education and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
