Marie Taylor

Marie Taylor is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in higher education and government. Currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at Cornell University since February 2023, Taylor previously held similar roles at The University of Kansas from November 2014 to February 2023, where positions included Associate General Counsel and Contracts Attorney. Earlier experience includes serving as Staff Attorney at the Kansas Department of Transportation, Assistant City Attorney for the City of El Paso, and various roles at the Eighth District Court of Appeals. Taylor's legal journey began with summer associateships at Goodwin and Goulston & Storrs and a policy analyst position at the National Center on Family Homelessness. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and advanced and undergraduate degrees in History from Princeton University and Connecticut College, respectively.
