Marlene Johnson

Marlene Johnson is an experienced communications trainer and coach with over 20 years in facilitation, writing, and coaching. Currently serving as an eCornell course facilitator at Cornell University since February 2020, Marlene also operates as a freelance communications trainer and coach. As a Senior Trainer/Coach for The Ariel Group, Marlene facilitates training programs in business and sales writing and presentation development for major companies. Previously, Marlene worked as a Senior Consultant at Spoken Impact, providing training and coaching for presentations, and created a virtual training program in conflict resolution for Sophia Learning at Capella University. Marlene's background includes expertise in group dynamics, theater training, storytelling, and writing, enabling individuals to enhance their authenticity and influence as communicators. Marlene holds a degree from the University of Minnesota.
