Sveta Reddy

Sveta Reddy is a dedicated healthcare advocate and researcher, co-founding multiple initiatives aimed at improving maternal and neonatal health, including Empower Through Health and SvaasaNeo, which focus on rural areas in Uganda and India, respectively. Currently, Reddy serves as the Vice President of Empower Through Health while also fulfilling roles such as Senior Undergraduate Researcher at Devoogd Lab, where research explores brain evolution in female songbirds. In addition to co-founding Ithaca SMArtS, a non-profit promoting STEM education for youth, Reddy has extensive teaching and mentoring experience at Cornell University, including roles as Head Teaching Assistant and Biology Student Advisor. Previous work as a Clinical Research Coordinator at MidHudson Medical Research involved leading studies in innovative medical diagnostics and therapies. Reddy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cornell University.
