Michael Elashoff

Michael Elashoff has extensive experience in the field of data science and biostatistics. Michael is currently the CEO and Founder of Cornerstone AI, where they are leading the development of AI technology to structure and clean healthcare and clinical data. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Data Science at Project Rǒnin, where they utilized large-scale oncology EMR and patient digital data to provide real-time treatment guidance and improve patient outcomes.

From 2014 to 2018, Elashoff was the Vice President, Data Science at Medidata Solutions, where they focused on machine learning and AI for clinical trials and genomics, and developed Synthetic Control arms using historical clinical trial and EMR data. Before that, they held the position of VP Biostatistics at Celmatix, Inc., and founded a company called Patient Profiles, which was acquired by Medidata Solutions.

Elashoff also has experience working as a Senior Director of Biostatistics at CardioDx and as the Director of Biostatistics at Gene Logic. Michael began their career as a Mathematical Statistician at the US Food and Drug Administration, where they played a key role in reviewing and approving drugs. Overall, Elashoff's work experience demonstrates their expertise in utilizing AI and machine learning techniques to improve data quality and provide valuable insights in the healthcare and clinical research industries.

Michael Elashoff obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley. Following this, they pursued further education at Harvard University, where they completed a Doctorate in Biostatistics.
