Tara O'Leary

Tara O'Leary is a barrister at Cornerstone Barristers, a position held since October 2014. Previous roles include Pupil Barrister at REDRESS from January 2013 to September 2014, Universal Jurisdiction Project Coordinator at Amnesty International from July 2012 to December 2012, and Human Rights Legal Advisor for the OSCE Mission in Kosovo between October 2010 and June 2012. Early career experience also includes working as a Legal Researcher for the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders in 2010 and as a Research Assistant at Front Line, the International Foundation for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders. Academic qualifications include an LLM in Public International Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, an LLB in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick, participation in an International Exchange Program at the University of Victoria, and completion of the Bar Professional Training Course at The College of Law, Bloomsbury.
