Mauricio Tapia

Mauricio Tapia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project controls and management across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Project Controls Consultant at Cornerstone Engineering Ltd. since August 2023, Mauricio previously held various leadership roles at Pembina Pipeline Corporation, including Manager and Supervisor of Project Controls, where strategic implementation of an integrated Project Controls platform was achieved. Mauricio's background includes significant managerial experience at Toyo Engineering Canada Ltd., overseeing project controls departments and ensuring support during company expansions. An educator at heart, Mauricio has contributed to academia as an instructor in Industrial Engineering while also leading accreditation projects at Universidad del Valle. Mauricio holds an MBA in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del Valle.
