Nish Hansoti

Nish Hansoti is a Principal at Cornerstone Research since September 2016, specializing in financial analyses related to class certification, economic damages, valuation, and bankruptcy, particularly in cases involving the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Prior to this role, Nish served as a Senior Manager providing financial analysis for complex commercial litigation, and gained experience as a Senior Equity Research Associate Intern at Robert W. Baird & Co., where foundational analysis of hotel REITs was conducted. Nish also held the position of Acting CFO at MakerSquare, focusing on financial forecasting and operational efficiency, and contributed to raising $750MM in public debt at Guggenheim Partners as part of the corporate finance team. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Senior Tax Associate at McGladrey, a Tax Advisory Intern at SMART Business Advisory and Consulting, and a Financial Analyst Intern at HSBC. Nish holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
