Jonathan Marko

AVP, Academics & Associate Professor of Philosophical & Systematic Theology at Cornerstone University

Dr. Jonathan Stevens Marko has a passion for teaching, discipleship, and research. Before attending seminary, Dr. Marko was a mechanical engineer for two years. After seminary, he served as a pastor for over two years before moving to Grand Rapids to enter Calvin Theological Seminary’s doctoral program. During his second year at Calvin, Dr. Marko came on board at Cornerstone University.

Prior to serving as the dean of undergraduate education, Dr. Marko formerly taught courses in philosophy and theology in Cornerstone’s traditional undergraduate program and at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Outside of work, he serves as an elder of adult discipleship and community (since 2010) and assists with pulpit supply for West Michigan area churches.
