Patrick Destain

Patrick Destain is a seasoned optical design engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Optical Design Engineer at Corning Incorporated since September 2019. Previous roles include senior positions at Altman Lighting, Inc., Philips Lighting Division, Synopsys, and Texas Instruments, where responsibilities encompassed the design of advanced optical systems such as cellphone camera lenses utilizing liquid lens technology and various projection systems. Patrick Destain holds a Master's degree in Optronics from the University of Liège and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Université libre de Bruxelles.
