Qiang Fu is currently a Principal Research Scientist at Corning Incorporated and serves as the Editor of the Journal of the American Ceramic Society. Their research interests include bioactive glass, functional glass, and glass-ceramics, with over 60 published journal papers and more than 50 granted US patents. Previously, Qiang worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where they developed advanced glass and ceramic scaffolds for bone tissue engineering. Qiang also holds a Ph.D. in Ceramic Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
