Wei Sun

Wei Sun has extensive experience in scientific research and development, currently serving as a Senior Development Scientist at Corning Incorporated since December 2014, specializing in glass technology. Prior to this role, Wei Sun worked as a Research Scientist focusing on organic and biochemistry research. Wei Sun's academic foundation includes a Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from Iowa State University, a Master's degree in Applied Statistics from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China. Earlier roles include a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Washington, concentrating on nanoparticle and optical research, and a Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University, where Wei Sun developed optical imaging methods for single molecule and single cell analysis.
