Yuankun Cai

Yuankun Cai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials science and technology development. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Technology Development Manager at Corning Incorporated's Research Center China since February 2012, Yuankun Cai manages innovation projects focused on developing new materials and products while providing technology leadership for emerging businesses in China. Prior experience includes roles as a Materials Scientist at GE Global Research, where research and development of thin film solar cells were conducted, and a Research Associate at Ames Lab, affiliated with the U.S. Department of Energy, where significant contributions were made in OLED development and related technologies. Yuankun Cai holds a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering-Microelectronics from Iowa State University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Nankai University.
