Chris Harker

Chris graduated with an Honours degree in Mining Engineering from Camborne School of Mines and worked on the original hot dry rock (HDR) geothermal energy project, before moving into consultancy in virtually all aspects of the renewable energy and mining industries.

He has extensive knowledge of the geology of Cornwall, and of its mining heritage, and has worked in the County on geothermal energy and other projects relating to thermal springs for over 30 years. His ability to digitally integrate and interpret geological, historical and geographical information has been invaluable in setting up the company’s Geographical Information System (GIS), and he now heads up the technical team in Cornwall.
