Oliver Blount

Oliver Blount has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles, currently serving as Chairman, Trustee, Treasurer, and head of the Finance Committee at Cornwall Wildlife Trust since September 2020. Prior to this, Oliver held the position of Managing Director at ING from September 2007 to 2019 and at Bear Stearns & Co. from 2000 to 2007, where key achievements included establishing a new European business. Earlier in the career, Oliver worked as a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1990 to 2000. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge and officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where training for the Gurkha Infantry Officer was completed.
