Hao Huang is a distinguished academic and performer holding the Bessie and Cecil Frankel Endowed Chair in Music at Scripps College since 1994, where responsibilities include teaching in various interdisciplinary courses as well as serving as the co-director of the Mellon Interdisciplinary Humanities Initiative and director of the Scripps College Humanities Institute. In addition to academic roles, Hao Huang has an extensive performance career as a concert pianist, showcasing talent through numerous recitals across the globe, including in Italy, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Brazil.
