Laura Medina Quintanar

Laura Medina Quintanar serves as the Executive Director for Northern California at Playworks since August 2022 and is currently an Adjunct Faculty member at Coro Northern California. With a focus on leadership development, Laura has participated in the 2024 Bridging the Bay Fellowship program and was a 2020 Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Previous roles include Executive Director at Horizons at San Francisco Friends School and Vice President of the Board at Thomas Edison Charter Academy. Laura's extensive experience at SMART includes positions as Director of Programs and Director of Student Success, where responsibilities spanned strategic planning, program management, community partnerships, and curriculum development. Laura holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's in Public Administration from San Francisco State University.
