Amir Alvi

Amir Alvi is an experienced professional in the fertiliser industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Coromandel International Limited since March 2013, overseeing manufacturing and supply chain operations for the largest private phosphatic manufacturer in India, managing 11 sites domestically and supporting three joint ventures abroad. Prior to this role, Amir held several leadership positions at Tata Chemicals from 1992 to 2013, including Vice President and site head of a significant manufacturing facility in Haldia. Amir holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, a PG Diploma in Business Management, and a certification in Customer Centricity, Leadership and Strategy from the Indian School of Business.
