Christopher Meyering has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Christopher is currently employed as the Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary at Coronado Global Resources Inc., a position they began in September 2021. Prior to their current role, Meyering worked at Sciens Capital Management for over two decades, starting from October 2000 until July 2021, where they served as the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Before joining Sciens Capital Management, they held the position of VP, General Counsel, and Secretary at Pure Energy Corporation from October 1998 to October 2000. Meyering began their legal career as an Assistant General Counsel at The Pittson Company (aka Brink's Incorporated), where they worked from an undisclosed start date until 1998. Prior to that, they served as a Corporate Associate at Day Berry & Howard (aka Day Pitney) from 1987 to 1989. Christopher'searliest known position was as a Litigation Associate at Whitman & Ransom, a position they held from 1983 to 1987.
Christopher Meyering attended Georgetown University Law Center from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law, as well as Litigation. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at Georgetown University from 1976 to 1980, earning a Bachelor's degree in History and English. During their time at Georgetown University, they also achieved an A.B in English and History. Before their university studies, Christopher attended Greenwich High School.
