Mark A Alderson MIH has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Mark A began their career in 2004 as Head Sommelier at Relais & Châteaux, Hotel el Castell de Cuitat in Catalonia, Espana. In 2006, they moved to Macdonald Hotels & Resorts as an Operations Manager, where they managed high profile events on a 2500 acre estate. In 2010, they took on the role of Hotel Revenue Management at Barnsdale Hall Hotel, a 5 Gold Crown RCI resort. In 2012, they joined Aston Recruitment Ltd as a Recruitment Consultant, where they successfully expanded the hotel sector of the hospitality division across the UK. In 2013, they took on the role of General Manager at The Robert Parker Collection, a boutique property renowned for exclusive use weddings. In 2014, they were promoted to VP EMEA & CIS at HES Global, where they forged new business from trade shows and visiting overseas clients. In 2016, they joined Alderson Gray Executive Search as Director, understanding clients and candidates alike. In 2017, they took on the role of Race Director at Stamford Striders, leading a 100+ team to deliver a top UKA running event. Finally, in 2020, they became a Brand Ambassador at COROS Wearables.
