Edgardo Vargas

Edgardo Vargas has a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. Edgardo started their career at Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Manager. Edgardo then moved on to work at Panam Wireless, Inc. as a Resource Director & Controller, where they were responsible for accounting controls and managing the operational budget.

After working at Panam Wireless, Inc., Edgardo joined FirstMark Communications Latin America, LLC. as the Director of Finance & Corporate Controller. Edgardo developed operational budgets, implemented accounting procedures, and established reporting structures for the company's expansion into Latin America. However, the company later decided to close its operations in Latin America and focus on Europe.

Edgardo later joined Cypress Communications as a Sr VP & Controller, where they supported the development and execution of a business plan that included three major business acquisitions and subsequent consolidation under a single corporation. Edgardo played a key role in M&A activities, including fund raising, negotiations, and the integration of operational, financial, and accounting functions.

Following their tenure at Cypress Communications, Edgardo worked at Yum! Restaurants International as a Controller. In this role, they were responsible for planning and corporate reporting for a region covering over 40 countries and managing more than $120 million in revenue. Edgardo also oversaw sales analysis, royalty collections, and provided franchise audit support throughout the region.

Edgardo then joined Western Union as a Finance Director, where they worked until 2010. Finally, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Corpac Steel Products Corporation, where they currently hold the role.
