Michael Lamm

Managing Partner at Corporate Advisory Solutions

Michael Lamm co-founded the U.S.-Israel Business Exchange in Washington, DC, when he was still a college student. This public/private initiative, whose network grew to include more than 3,000 businesses, was established out of the Embassy of Israel to accelerate the market entry and facilitate the financing of Israeli technology companies in the Greater Washington, D.C. Region. This early experience confirmed Michael’s desire to acquire the tools and knowledge to dedicate his career to helping business owners and management teams achieve their goals. He hasn’t looked back. Today, he is a founding partner of Corporate Advisory Solutions, a respected and fast-growing merchant bank that supports a select group of clients out of its Philadelphia office.

Just as Michael co-founded the U.S.-Israel Business Exchange due to deeply held convictions regarding his client companies, he brings the same level of belief and commitment to his clients at Corporate Advisory Solutions.

From the firm’s earliest days, Michael has directed all efforts towards companies from the Tech-Enabled Outsourced Business Services sector, with a singular focus concentrated on Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Accounts Receivable Management (ARM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Specialty Finance companies. While this level of specialization is driven by a strong belief regarding the importance of this business sector to the U.S. economy, it has also served to help Michael develop a superior skill set as an advisor to companies in this sector.

Michael, his partner Mark Russell and their deal team have completed nearly 50 transactions since Corporate Advisory Solutions’ founding in 2013. As a Managing Partner, Michael oversees and executes engagements, investment opportunities, compliance/regulatory assessments, strategic consulting, valuation, and expert witness litigation matters, while also charting the firm’s corporate direction and strategic growth plan.

Michael is actively involved in leading industry associations including ACA (Council of Delegates), Institute for Collection Leadership (ICL – Board Advisor), Risk Management Association (RMA), the Association for Corporate Growth – Philadelphia chapter (membership committee), the American University Alumni Association (chapter leader) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

He is committed to giving back to the M&A advisory community by frequently speaking at industry events on M&A and valuation trends. He is also a regular contributor to industry publications where he offers analysis, posts blogs, and writes articles.

Prior to co-founding Corporate Advisory Solutions, Michael served as a Director at Kaulkin Ginsberg, an M&A strategic advisory firm specializing in the ARM industry, for over 10 years, where he executed over 70 M&A transactions and acted as a strategic adviser to both service providers and creditors.

Michael was awarded a degree in international studies by American University.
