Veronica Nwokem has a diverse and extensive work experience. Veronica began their career as a Human Resources Intern at St. Vincent Medical Center in 1997. From 1998 to 2003, they worked at J.P. Morgan, first as a Retail Financial Services Analyst and then as a Human Resources Coordinator. Veronica then transitioned to roles in the social work field, starting as a Social Work Assistant at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in 2004, then as a Social Work Intern at Blanton Peale Counseling Center in 2005. Veronica also worked as a Social Worker at New York Presbyterian Hospital's Department of Neurology & Neurosurgery from 2006 to 2008.
In 2008, Veronica joined CCA Inc. as an EAP Counselor before steadily progressing through the ranks. Veronica excelled as an Account Executive from 2010 to 2015, managing client relationships and providing consultation on human capital issues. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the Assistant Director of Client Services, enhancing account management operations and expanding strategic relationships. Finally, Veronica became the Director of Client Services at CCA starting in 2016, where they lead the client services team and oversees top-tier relationships, delivering consultation and strategic planning for over 10 client accounts.
Veronica Nwokem obtained a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Applied Psychology and Human Relations at Pace University from 1998 to 2002. Veronica Nwokem also holds a certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the New York State, which was obtained in the year 2012.
