Erik Assadourian

Editor in Chief at Corporate Eco Forum

Erik Assadourian has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erik is currently the Editor in Chief at Corporate Eco Forum (CEF). Prior to this, Erik worked as an Independent Consultant, offering sustainability research, editing, and writing services to various organizations including Hot or Cool Institute, Feed the Truth, Stone Soup Leadership Institute, and the KR Foundation.

Erik has also served as a Senior Fellow at the Worldwatch Institute, where they directed several editions of State of the World and Vital Signs. Their research interests include consumerism, corporate responsibility, sustainable communities, education, global security, global sustainability indicators, ecological ethics, and religion's role in sustainable development. Erik is currently directing the Transforming Cultures Project and State of the World 2017: EarthEd: Rethinking Education on a Changing Planet.

In addition, Erik has been a Member of the Coordinating Committee at The MAHB, a Faculty Member at Goucher College's Environmental Studies Masters program, and a Development Director at The Rockfall Foundation. Erik has also worked as the US Editor at FUTUREPERFECT, a Contributing Editor at Adbusters, a Columnist at The Guardian Sustainable Business Blog, and a Program Advisor at the Center for a New American Dream.

Erik Assadourian attended Avon Old Farms from 1991 to 1995, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Erik then attended Denstone College from 1995 to 1996, focusing on English, History, and Art but did not earn a degree. Later, from 1996 to 2000, Erik attended Dartmouth College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Religion modified with Anthropology.
