Lama abu-Amara

Lama Abu-Amara is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and data privacy, currently serving as the Managing Director at CFGI since August 2021, with a progression of roles including Director and Senior Manager within the Cybersecurity Practice. Lama holds membership at Chief since April 2024 and has a significant background at Grainger from 2013 to August 2021, contributing as Manager of Global Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance and other roles in information security. Prior experience includes teaching at the Illinois Institute of Technology and managing annual giving efforts for institutional advancement. Lama earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a candidate for a Master of Science in Management with an Agile Lean focus at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
