Mark is the Leader of CFGI’s Accounting for Income Tax Practice. As a subject matter expert in ASC 740, Mark has extensive experience in purchase accounting, accounting for stock based compensation, valuation allowance assessments, uncertain tax positions, and analyzing indefinite reinvestment assertions. In his career Mark has assisted his clients and lead engagement teams through the tax accounting for complex transactions including acquisitions, carve-outs, initial public offerings, and other reorganizations.
Mark brings over 16 years of experience to his clients, providing tax consulting services to public and private companies of all sizes from start-ups to large multinational companies. He has experience across various industries including technology (hardware and software/SaaS), biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and other life sciences, medical device, industrial manufacturing, retail, power and utilities, telecommunications, and professional services companies.
Prior to joining CFGI, Mark was a Director in the tax practice at PwC. Mark graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with dual concentrations in Accounting and Computer Information Systems. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Massachusetts, and a member of the AICPA and MSCPA.
