Molly McDonald has a diverse range of work experience in the fitness and recreational programming field. Molly began their career as the General Manager at Curves from August 2007 to September 2009. Following this, they worked as the Coordinator of Fitness and Recreational Programming at Philadelphia University from October 2010 to October 2011. Molly then joined Town Sports International as the Assistant Fitness Program Manager in November 2011 and remained in this role until May 2017. During their time at Town Sports International, Molly was responsible for various tasks such as hiring group exercise instructors, creating exercise schedules, teaching classes, organizing specialty programs, and overseeing the intramural program. Currently, Molly works at Corporate Fitness Works as the Senior Health Fitness Program Manager, starting in May 2017.
Molly McDonald attended Ursinus College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science/Coaching. In addition to their degree, Molly has obtained several certifications in the field of fitness and wellness. In 2006, they received their Adult CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. Molly later obtained their Group Exercise Instructor Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in March 2011, followed by their Personal Fitness Trainer Certification from the AFAA in April 2011. In August 2012, they became a Certified Spinning Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics. Finally, in July 2013, Molly obtained their Certified Pool/Spa Operator Certification from the National Swimming Pool Foundation.
