Business travel is essential to today’s global economy. But, leaving the comforts of home and living out of a suitcase in a hotel can be a source of stress, loneliness and exhaustion. When business travel calls for longer stays, job relocation, internships, training or special projects, corporate housing is an excellent lodging choice to the cramped confines of a hotel room or the unpredictability of the sharing economy. Corporate housing is a professionally managed and rented furnished residential property for individuals, families and corporations, usually for longer than 30 days. It provides a variety of housing solutions in places you want to be, including apartments, condos, and single-family homes for people to use. Your temporary home is move-in ready. The convenience and comfort of having furniture, utilities, housewares and amenities already set up is part of the service that makes corporate housing a great fit in many situations. CHPA fosters opportunities for corporate housing providers and their partners through networking, education, professional certification, company accreditation, quality assessment programs and information sharing. CHPA members grow their businesses and expand their reach through an international network of partners, allowing them to serve travelers wherever they may need. As all CHPA members agree to abide by a code of ethics and access the latest industry trends and information, travelers can rest assured they are working with a professional. CHPA offers members the opportunity to showcase their expertise and professionalism through a number of programs. To see if an industry partner is committed to providing the best service, ask these three things: 1. are they a Certified Corporate Housing Professional (CCHP)? 2. is the company an accredited member of CHPA? and 3. Has the company been quality assessed? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, you know you are working with a true professional!
