Andrew Bloom

Co-President & CEO; COO at Corporate Synergies

As one of the original officers of Corporate Synergies, Andrew Bloom has served at the epicenter of the firm’s growth and ongoing success. In addition to managing the sales functions for metropolitan Philadelphia and the surrounding area, he is responsible for Corporate Synergies’ integrated service delivery and account management models that simplify benefits for employers and their employees and help them achieve the best possible value for the benefits dollar.

Previously, he served as Vice President and Manager of Benefits Administration for Bank of America’s Insurance Services Group, where he managed all aspects of the business unit. He also developed BofA’s technical support unit and employee call center. He began his career as an employee benefits consultant and went on to develop extensive expertise in strategic business planning, renewal analysis, claims reporting, alternate funding and carrier relations. He possesses deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and is a strategist in the design and implementation of administrative solutions.

Andrew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from American University. He is also a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School Executive Leadership Development Program. He holds a Pennsylvania Life and Health License and non-resident licenses in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Andrew is an honored recipient of SmartCEO’s Executive Management Award in 2013.
