Andrew McMutrie

Andrew McMutrie has a wealth of experience in various roles within the IT and management fields. Andrew has held positions such as Head of Security at Corporate Travel Management, ICT Manager - Security & Risk at Goodstart Early Learning, Commercial Manager at IntegrationWorks, CIO/CFO at WorkPac, and Information Systems Manager at Australia Pacific LNG. Prior to these roles, they worked for Origin Energy in various capacities, including IT Business Partner and Manager of Information Services. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated their expertise in project management, strategic planning, financial governance, and vendor/partner relationships. Andrew has successfully implemented digital transformation programs, delivered service delivery to major projects, and developed technical competency frameworks. Andrew's extensive experience highlights their ability to drive organizational success through effective IT and management strategies.

Andrew McMutrie has an extensive education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. Andrew began their education at Flinders University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a focus on Chemistry and Biology. Following this, from 1993 to 1996, they attended the University of Adelaide, earning a Diploma in Wine Marketing (DipWineMkt).

Continuing their academic journey, McMutrie enrolled at Mt Eliza Business School in 2003, completing a New Managers Development Program that emphasized Management and Leadership. In subsequent years, they pursued further education at La Trobe University, where they attended from 2004 to 2011 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Technology Management, specifically in the field of Management Information Systems.

In addition to their formal degrees, McMutrie has also acquired several certifications to supplement their education. These include becoming a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)² in October 2022. Andrew has also obtained a certificate in Facilitate Group Processes from the Australian Institute of Management and completed ITIL Service Management training at DDLS Process. Furthermore, they have participated in a Leadership Program offered by Zaffyre International and acquired a Level 1 Coach (Youth) certification through the Australian Football League (AFL). Finally, they hold certifications in PRINCE2 - Foundation Certificate from Ferguson Project Management Services and Project Management - Advanced Techniques from The Thomsett Company.
