Peggy Slama

Peggy Slama has an extensive work experience in the field of engineering and environmental services. Peggy started their career as a Junior Engineer at Ainley Group in November 1995 and worked there until July 2001. Peggy then joined RJ Burnside & Associates as a Project Manager and Project Engineer in July 2001 and stayed with the company until July 2014. Following that, they joined the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood in July 2014 as the Manager of Water Services, and later became the Manager of Environmental Services from January 2016 to December 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Public Works, Engineering and Environmental Services since December 2019.

Peggy Slama obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil from McGill University, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. Peggy also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer from the Professional Engineers Ontario institution, although the specific details of when they obtained this certification are not provided.
