John Lusins, M.D., FAPA has an extensive education history in the field of psychiatry and medicine. John obtained their B.A. in Psychology from Connecticut College in 1996. Prior to that, they attended Berkshire School from 1989 to 1991. In 2002, they received their M.D. from the American University of the Caribbean Medical School. Following this, they pursued a Psychiatry Residency Program at West Virginia University School of Medicine from 2008 to 2012. During this time, in September 2012, they obtained board certification in General Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. John furthered their education by completing a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry from West Virginia University School of Medicine from 2012 to 2013.
