Hilke Meerman

Hilke Meerman has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they worked as a project communication employee at Corre Energy, contributing to the promotion of green energy. Hilke also owns a yoga studio called Yoga050 since 2013, where they and their team help people find relaxation, focus, and strength through yoga. Previously, they worked as a yoga teacher at Lighthouse Works from January to November 2015. Hilke also had a role in communication and administration at Lentis from December 2012 to February 2013. Before that, they worked as a communication and sales employee at Do You Care from September 2010 to August 2012. Additionally, they worked as a residential guide and receptionist at Lentis from 2001 to 2011. In 2010, they had a temporary position as a project assistant for online communication and social media research at NCDO. Hilke also gained experience as a junior consultant in communication at UNICEF Field Office Suriname from February to July 2009. Furthermore, they had roles as a production assistant at Theater de Citadel in 2005 and at Theater te Water from 2003 to 2004.

Hilke Meerman attended Alpha College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in SCW (Social Cultureel Werk - Kunst Cultuur en Amusement). From 2006 to 2010, they pursued their higher education at Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, where they graduated with a degree in International Communication, specializing in Communications. In 2008-2009, Hilke also had the opportunity to study at Tecnologico de Monterrey - Mexico as part of their Minor HBO, focusing on Business/Corporate Communications.
