Riccardo Gubbioli has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Riccardo started their career at Dealogic as a Business Development Manager, where they provided analytical software applications and business solutions to investment banks. Riccardo then joined The Parthenon Group as a Summer Associate, working on projects related to strategy consulting and private equity acquisition due diligence.
Riccardo then transitioned to renewable energy investing at OEG Ltd, where they helped grow one of the first Pan-European renewable energy platforms and executed transactions on assets worth over $400m. Riccardo invested in various renewable energy sectors, including on-shore wind, solar PV, biomass, and small hydro.
After that, they started their own corporate finance advisory boutique called RLLG Consulting. Here, they specialized in investment valuations and transactions, with a focus on projects related to electric vehicles in the UK.
Riccardo then joined the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) as an Investment Evaluator. In this role, they advised on the investment potential of early-stage ventures working towards de-carbonizing the economy, specifically in clean-tech, renewable energy, and new energy sectors. Riccardo supported innovators with grant or equity funding and acceleration services.
Riccardo later joined Brilliant Planet as the Director of Corporate Finance, where they held a leadership role in the finance department. Recently, they joined Corre Energy as an Associate Director of Corporate Finance.

In addition, Riccardo holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering with German, also from the University of Nottingham.
