Saum Vahdat

Saum Vahdat is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Bridgewest Ventures NZ since July 2020, where the focus is on investments in Hi-tech and Biotech companies. In addition to this role, Saum has been the Chief Financial Officer of the Bridgewest Group since July 2015, overseeing a diversified portfolio in various industries, including biotech and infrastructure. Saum also holds the position of Director of Finance and Corporate Strategy at Endura Technologies, a semiconductor company specializing in power management solutions. Prior experience includes a role as a Summer Associate at Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities involved evaluating acquisition targets and analyzing industry trends. Saum's academic background includes an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BBA from the University of San Diego, complemented by a study abroad program in Entrepreneurship at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
