Joseph Novak

Joseph Novak has extensive work experience in data science and analytics. Joseph currently holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering, Data & Core Services at Correlation One. Prior to this role, they worked as the Senior Director of Data and Content at Correlation One.

Before joining Correlation One, Joseph worked at Target as a Lead Data Scientist, where they utilized their expertise in data analysis and predictive analytics. Joseph also served as a Data Scientist at Centriam, where they developed and implemented advanced analytics models for clients using Python, Jupyter, Docker, and Git.

Joseph's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at U.S. Bank and a Data Analyst at Target. Joseph also held roles such as Lead Research Analyst at North Hennepin Community College, GIS Analyst at City of Eagan, Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Research Associate and Green Coordinator at Macalester College.

Joseph Novak obtained a B.A. in Mathematics from Macalester College in the years 2005 to 2009. Joseph then pursued an M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics and Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2009 to 2011. In addition, Joseph has obtained certifications as a Data Science for All 'DS4A' Mentor and a DS4A/ Empowerment Mentor Badge from Correlation One in the years 2020 and 2021.
