Joost Backer

Joost Backer is an experienced professional currently involved with WageMap as a member of the Project Management Office, focusing on establishing a universally accepted living wage reference standard. Joost serves as a member of GroenLinks, addressing international trade, justice, and environmental issues. Additionally, Joost holds the position of Senior Consultant at NewForesight, specializing in sustainability challenges, and is the founder of Correspondents of the World. Previous roles include co-founding Out-of-the-Box Sustainable Giftboxes, serving as Project Manager at Code Sociale Ondernemingen, and functioning as an Administrative Assistant at Bureau Veritas.
