David Gardner

David Gardner has over 15 years of work experience in the mining and coal industry. David is currently working as the Vice President of Engineering at Corsa Coal Corporation since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Mining Engineer at Corsa Coal Corporation from June 2021 to March 2023. David also has experience as a Mining Engineer at Corsa Coal Corporation from October 2016 to July 2018. David has worked as a Project Manager at Penn Environmental & Remediation, Inc from July 2015 to October 2016. David has also held positions as a Mining Engineer at Rosebud Mining Company from December 2014 to June 2015, as an Environmental Compliance Manager at Alpha Natural Resources from February 2013 to December 2014, and as a Mining Engineer at Alpha Natural Resources from July 2011 to February 2013. David started their career as a Senior Project Engineer at Patriot Coal Corporation from November 2007 to June 2011, and prior to that, they worked as a Mining Engineer - Engineering Trainee at Peabody Energy from July 2006 to November 2007.

David Gardner attended Virginia Tech from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering. David also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering with a focus on Mining and Mineral Engineering during the same time period. In July 2011, they received their certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
