Cheng-Chieh Chao

Cheng-Chieh Chao has a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience working for various companies.

From 2020 to present, Chao has been working as a Mechanical Engineer at Corsair.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, Chao held the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Tymphany. In this role, Chao was responsible for voice control and high-quality smart speaker mechanical design. Chao also played a key role in problem-solving and troubleshooting during the NPI stages of product development, as well as serving as an interface between the company and customers.

From 2014 to 2018, Chao worked as a Senior Product Design Engineer at 和弦聯合, where Chao closely collaborated with the customer's PD team to develop products related to the Internet of Things for a Google family company home device. Chao utilized UG(NX) to draw 3D modules, prepared 2D drawings for the tooling process, and visited vendors to facilitate part and assembly production and monitor part quality.

From 2013 to 2014, Chao held the role of Mechanical Engineer at 宣達電腦, where they independently designed server products and used Pro-E to draw 3D modules and prepare 2D drawings for the tooling process.

Chao also worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Solidpro Corporation from 2011 to 2012. In this role, Chao independently designed LED projector mechanical parts, conducted space analysis for LED projectors to resolve electrical component, optical engine module, and thermal risks. Additionally, Chao built a factory system using PE to establish a smooth production line.

Lastly, Chao worked as a Mechanical Engineer at 佳世達科技股份有限公司 from 2010 to 2011.

Throughout their work experiences, Chao has demonstrated expertise in mechanical design, problem-solving, product development, and quality control.

Cheng-Chieh Chao completed their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan Ocean University from 2006 to 2009.
