Ronald van Veen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ronald began their career in Unisys as a Sr Hardware Design Engineer from 1985 to 1988. Ronald then joined Cypress Semiconductor in 1990 where they held various roles including Director of M&A, SRAM Marketing, Production Control, Business Unit Director NV-Memory, and BU Controller until 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Vice President in Semiconductor Private Company Research at Morgan Stanley. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as the Subsidiary Controller at TriQuint Semiconductor. Ronald's most recent role was at Corsair, where they held multiple positions including Senior Director of FP&A from 2009 to 2010, VP of Finance & Accounting from 2009 to 2017, and VP of Finance from 2017 onwards. At Corsair, they played a crucial role in the sale of the company to new private equity partners and led various initiatives such as incremental debt financing, M&A activities, and integration of acquired companies. Ronald was also responsible for budgeting, treasury planning, tax planning, and business analysis with a focus on reducing the corporate cash tax rate.
