Raz Shmuely

Raz Shmuely is a seasoned Senior Algorithm Developer with extensive experience in computer vision, audio processing, robotics, and reinforcement learning. Currently at Corsound AI since May 2024, Raz focuses on cross-modality projects. Previous roles include positions at Tevel, Pipl, and ironSource, where operations ranged from developing machine-learning models for fraud prevention to creating recommendation systems and defining key performance indicators. Raz’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Additionally, Raz served as a Captain in the Israeli Air Force from 2013 to 2015, and has contributed to education as a Data Scientist at NAYA-College, guiding individuals in machine-learning model development.
