Paula Newell

Paula Johnston Newell has served as Chief Operating Officer of CORT since December 1998, leading the company, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, in providing comprehensive transition services including furniture rental and event furnishings across the United States and internationally. Paula has held various leadership positions at CORT, such as Executive Vice President of Operations and Sales & Operations for the East Coast, Vice President of National Accounts, and Regional Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining CORT, Paula held the position of Operations, Sales, and Merchandising Manager at Levitz Furniture from June 1988 to December 1998. Paula graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University-San Bernardino in 1990.
