Martin Schuettler

Martin Schuettler is an experienced professional in the field of neural engineering, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at CorTec GmbH since September 2012, where the focus is on developing human cortical implants for epilepsy diagnosis and environmental control. Additionally, Martin has held the role of CEO & CTO, working on personalized neurotherapies through the development of human cortical closed-loop implants. Martin's background includes a position as Group Leader at IMTEK, University of Freiburg, and senior fellow experience at the University of New South Wales. Furthermore, Martin has contributed as a visiting research fellow at University College London and conducted guest research at the University of Newcastle. Educational qualifications include a Diplom in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and a PhD in Neural Engineering from Universität des Saarlandes.
