David Bowen

David Bowen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research data management and analysis within the agricultural sector. Currently serving as Research Data Lead and Corteva Laureate at Corteva Agriscience since June 2019, David oversees data architecture and governance activities across various research domains. Prior to this, David worked at DuPont Pioneer for over 12 years, where roles included Data Lead for Data Sciences and Informatics, focusing on data governance and integration, as well as serving as a Research Scientist to support molecular breeding and breeding technologies. David's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Plant Science and a Master of Science in Applied Plant Sciences from the University of Idaho and University of Minnesota, respectively, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Agriculture from Brigham Young University. Early research experience includes positions as a Research Associate at the University of Idaho and the University of Minnesota, and as a Laboratory Technician at Brigham Young University, emphasizing plant and soil analysis.
