Joshua Whelan

Joshua Whelan is an experienced field agronomist currently working at Corteva Agriscience since June 2020, previously held the position of Research Associate. Whelan's background includes significant agricultural experience, having worked as a farmhand at Whelan Family Farm from 2011 to 2018 and as a Plant Pathology Student Worker at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from February 2015 to December 2017. Additional roles include serving as a Technology Development Field Assistant at Monsanto Company and a Corn Research Intern at DuPont Pioneer in 2016. Whelan completed a Master's degree in Soil Sciences from North Carolina State University in 2019, following a Bachelor's degree in Crop, Soil, and Environmental Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
