Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the fields of sales, design, and project management, currently serving as a Senior Sales and Design Engineer at Cortland Company since November 2017. In this role, Ryan is responsible for driving project strategies, developing innovative solutions for Offshore Energy technologies, and supporting engineering project design and development. Prior to this, Ryan worked as a Hardware Design Engineer, managing high-capacity steel hardware projects and testing synthetic rope designs. Previous positions include Lifting and Rigging Engineer at Alltec Lifting Systems, where project coordination and safety compliance were key responsibilities, and Global Lifting and Rigging Engineer at Jacobs, focusing on critical lift packages and heavy lift plans. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, earned in 2013.
