Michelle Brainard

Michelle Brainard currently serves as the Assistant Property Controller of Training and previously held the position of Assistant Property Controller at Cortland since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle worked at The Morgan Group, Inc. from June 2018 to September 2022, advancing from Senior Portfolio Accountant to Senior Corporate Accountant and then to Accounting Manager. Earlier experience includes work as a Senior Associate in Financial Operations at Midway from February 2017 to May 2018, and as a Project Accountant at Transwestern from February 2015 to January 2017. Michelle began her career as an Accountant at BPI Realty Services, Inc. from November 2012 to February 2015. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business, earned between 2007 and 2009.
